Hi, I have been doing research on STOUT in Shelby and Spencer counties, Kentucky. I have some info here: http://www.bartemanuel.com/Stout-Study-p/ . I have not updated this for several years and am currently in the process of adding some info so should update in the next few weeks.
Thank you! It’s always nice to add new info! Thanks for visiting my website!
Dear People!
I am looking for Bernard Smith 1770-1772 from MD and Ann Drury. They ended up in Perry County, Missouri but had to be in Kentucky for some time. Maybe Washington County? Nelson? I do not know. They had a son named James, possible James Joseph and James had a son named Emanuel Joseph. I am not sure if they were married in Kentucky. They are my 4th Great Grandparents. I am not sure where Bernard and Ann and James are buried in Perry County but I have found Emanuel and Philomine Manning(2nd great grands) and my great grandparent’s Lawrence Vincent Smith and Ada Miles graves in St Mary’s, MO (Catholic Section). I will try to go back to Perryville, Missouri and look in the Catholic Cemetery there. I am also trying to find out who Bernard Smith’s parents are. I believe his father was also Bernard and his mother’s maiden name was Gallaher…I have been searching for a long time. I would sure like to follow Smiths back to Britian, but do not know whether they would be from England Ireland or Scotland.
If anyone has any information or are a branch off of my Smith side or any other side I would be forever grateful. We are also related to Moore, Hagan, and Hayden to name a few. Thank you for your help!
