VIVION

Last Thursday night death claimed one of the loveliest characters among the older people of the town, when he summoned across the river the spirit of Mrs. Sarah Vivion. She was 74 years of age and had been ill but two weeks with a complication of diseases. Her funeral took place at the Christian church Saturday morning, conducted by Dr. M. G. Buckner, and she was laid beside her loved ones resting in Spring Hill. Her pall-bearers were her grandsons and nephews, Messrs. Lewis and Glave Vivion, Albert Mullins, Henry Keller, Will Lowe and Dr. Tom Price. Mrs. Vivion has always lived in this community, and no life has ever left a nobler, sweeter record than hers. She was one of the best loved and best known women here, and her death has brought universal sorrow. She leaves two sons, Messrs. Albert and Grant Vivion, beside a large circle of relatives. For some years she had been making her home with the family of Mr. Albert Vivion.
