  1. The entry for “John Stoffeebean to Priscilla Ross” is my 5x Great Grandfather Johann Michael ‘John’ Stufflebeam and his first wife, Priscilla Ross. Their marriage date was 25 July 1790. The surname was originally Stopplebein but it has morphed several times and most of this branch of the family use Stufflebeam. He was born in Kinderhook, Columbia County, New York, fought in the Revolutionary War, eventually made his way to Kentucky and then on to Illinois. After Priscilla died, John married Elsee Larrison in 1794 in Paris, Bourbon County, Kentucky. I am descended from their son, William John Stufflebeam.

Thanks for all your good work! Cindy Greenberg
