I have spent the last hour trying to find Old Cedar Grove Baptist Cemetery on Google Maps.  I have not succeeded.  Ritchey and I visited the cemetery in May of 2016, taking photographs of some of the gravestones. 

I have a copy of Kentucky County Maps – a large book that was printed in 1987.  To say that it is very used is not an understatement!  This book has traveled with us through all 120 counties of Kentucky.  This book shows the location of cemeteries in each county – I’ve never seen another book quite like this one. Family cemeteries, or those without a church, are shown in a rectangle with a cross.  Those beside churches have a steeple in the rectangle. As good as this map it is, the cemetery can sometimes be just a short distance away from the listing.  Be that as it may, this a wonderful tool for any genealogist going to multiple cemeteries for research!

Back to Old Cedar Grove Baptist Cemetery.  I believe the cemetery is off Hwy 480 in the Cedar Grove area of Bullitt County – east of the county seat of Shepherdsville.  Ten years is a long time and I cannot remember which road was taken.  Perhaps someone in the area knows?
