Merry Christmas!

christmasMerry Christmas everyone!  Isn’t this what it is all about?  Family!  Little ones who have grown into adults and are making their own homes now.  A little girl who will be a  mother any day!  They are the future generation in whom we place so much love and trust.  Our ancestors who came before us – paving the way for their children to have a better life in new lands – are the past generations we are so anxious to learn about.  We are fortunate to live in such an exciting time.  There are more on-line websites for genealogy researchers than ever before.  State archives are coming on-line with so much information!  DNA testing is at a peak that gives so much insight into our forebears that perhaps in the next few years we will have many questions answered!  Enjoy every moment of the holidays with your loved ones!  Then in the new year we’ll return to our research renewed in vigor and determination!

  1. Thank you so much for your timely message and Merry Christmas wishes. Family is what it is all about and finding long lost or never known relatives is a wonderful part of that. I appreciate your hard work for all of us and I enjoy the feedback and comments of others. I wish Merry Christmas to all also.

  3. Thanks to you and many others, family, as a very important part of Christmas, will also learn of their roots and heritage.
85% of the Choir for the Christmas Eve Mass at St Clare Catholic Church in Colesburg in Hardin County were direct descendants (grandchildren, great grandchildren and married spouses) of A B and Lillie Frances Jenkins Bryan, long time residents and settlers in the Colesburg and “flats” area of Hardin County.
