Gravestones From St. Ivo Cemetery – Marion County

Photographs from six years ago when Ritchey and I visited St. Ivo’s Cemetery in Marion County. It is a lovely, peaceful place, surrounded by farm land. Building of the church began in the 1860’s but wasn’t dedicated until 1884. The church was used through the 1920’s, but since then was used yearly as a homecoming. St. Ivo Church had roof and wall damage due to a tornado and the church was torn down. The cemetery is well maintained. I noticed a recent burial from 2020 while checking Find A Grave.

The cemetery is located close to Pleasant Run Creek. Take east US68 out of Lebanon and turn left on Hwy1195 (Short Line Pike). After 4.3 miles take a left on Willis Trail Road. The cemetery is located a further 0.7 of a mile on the right.
