New Salem Cemetery – Simpson County

New Salem Cemetery is located in the northwestern section of Simpson County, at the intersection of New Salem Road and Moody Road. This is the older cemetery.

  1. Hello, I’d appreciate any info from Simpson County folks as to the naming of “Moody Road”. A John Moody moved to the area from Sumner County TN around the middle of the 19th Century and had a large farm which I’d like to locate.
