  1. Phyllis – Good Friday to You!
I am here in Mercer County until 07/20/2020 from Kansas City, Missouri.  I have been spending quality time at the Harrodsburg Historical Society.  The ladies send greetings noting they spoke very highly of you!

Quick Question: Where might I find Birth Records for Mercer County in the 1850’s?  I am trying to find the birth parents of my 1st Great-Grandmother i.e. Florence Kennedy-Lyen: Born 27 March 1855 of Mercer County, Kentucky.  Neither the Marriage Bond record nor her death certificate have this information listed.

The Kennedy cousins whom I have met for the very first time this week did not have this information.

Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated!!

I look forward to hearing from you soon!!!!

    Best Regards,

    J.L.

Any thoughts?
