CD #2 – Stewart’s Creek Baptist Church Gravestones

STEWART’S CREEK BAPTIST CHURCH

CD #2 is now available.  This is a CD of cemetery listings for Stewart’s Creek Baptist Church, located in Marion County, Kentucky.  There are also pictures for each stone, except for four which could not be located; a total of 85 people buried in this cemetery.  There are additional pictures of the church and surrounding area, and groupings of gravestones.  Each CD is $8.00 plus $1.95 for shipping/handling.  Anyone interested in purchasing a CD can email me at phyrit@roadrunner.com.

My grandparents, Jessie Delbert and Nannie Belle Coulter Hill, are buried at Stewart’s Creek, along with several other Hill relatives.

  1. This site is wonderfu, thank you for your selfless efforts. How can I purchase a CD? And do you have a listing for each one, indexed? Just so I know what to ask for. My Ray family and Spencer family lived in Washington and Marion, beginning in Nelson for the Rays.
    Again, thank you. Patty

    • Thank you, Patty! If you are interested in the CD Stewart’s Creek Baptist Church Gravestone Photos and Listing, it is $8.00 + $1.95 for shipping – a total of $9.95. There are 85 people buried in the cemetery. Included on the CD is an Excel spreadsheet that has the listings with birth and death dates, name, name of spouse if applicable. There is at least one photo of each stone, however there were four stones we could not find. Email me at phyrit@roadrunner.com if you are interested and I will send you my mailing address. The other cemetery I have finished at this time is St. Joseph Cemetery, also in Marion County. Thanks again for your kind words!

  2. In case you need this information: The stone for Rosanah C. and Francis Ray it makes sense to me that this is for both Francis who died in 1848 and Rosanah C (Coleman) Foster Ray died in 1837. The missing piece in the middle probably said wife of.
I will be sending a check around the end of the month with my SS comes in. I am excited to see this. What a wonderful sacrifice of your time to do this. At 64 I will probably never see the green grass of Kentucky not to mention church records or cemeteries. Hoping that Joseph Spencer/Louisa Ray are on this CD as well.
    Thank you so much, Patty
