I do know that Uncle Leon had a first marriage, and children from that marriage. I will ask my mom – don’t know if she will remember – although she does better on things that happened a long time ago!
Dottie, I asked Mom and she couldn’t remember. However, when I found the obituary for Aunt Nell it lists the following: Survivors include her husband, Leon Blandford; two step-daughters, Mrs. Robert Young, Springfield, and Mrs. Jesse Alred, Detroit; two step-sons, Martin Blandford, Springfield, and William Blandford, Lebanon. So you are correct! Uncle Leon only lasted until April, when he passed away.
