Another beautiful wedding photo! A lovely bride in black, with a beautiful white veil. Notice the pattern in her skirt and in the bolero jacket – with huge leg-o-mutton sleeves – must be a late 1890’s photo! The groom is very handsome – his wedding band looks sparkly and new!
On back is written “To dear Agnes from Mary Pitt, with my best wishes. To remember me.”
Photo taken by Koerner in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Hi, I am really interested in the picture of Mrs. Pitt and her new husband. Are you under the impression that she was married before? The reason I am asking is that I am related to the Pitt families.
Thank you for your time.

I thought since she gave the photo to a friend she signed her married name, Mary Pitt. Mr. Pitt remains nameless at this time. Perhaps I did not word my title correctly – I meant ‘newly married’.
No problem. I may do a bit of research and see if perhaps they are related. I don’t know of any relatives that resided in Wisconsin but who knows?
Once again, thank you for your time to answer.
