My 3x g-grandfather is a John Hill, b 1791, married Malinda Pollard. I’m wondering about the connection as my Hills came from Garrard Co. also.
I believe there were two groups of Hill’s in Garrard County at that time!
There are two groups of Hills in Garrard County at that time. As a matter of fact, there are TWO John Hills. One must be very careful to identify the correct John Hill. One is the son of Thomas Hill, he is not the correct John Hill belonging to this line.
Hi Phyllis!
Do you have any evidence that John Hill was born in VA?
Thanks!!!
