John Henry Taylor died 166 years ago – March 28, 1847 – in Perry County, Ohio.  John was the son of Nicholas Hawkins Taylor and Susanna Shellenberger.  He was only 17 years old at the time of his death.  John’s siblings were David Shellenberger, Walter Bean, Louisa Isabelle, Martha Ann, Amanda Jane, Mary Kathryn, Nancy Brown, Nicholas Hawkins, Samuel Olinger, Virginia Samanatha, Anne Susan and Lovina Manerva Taylor.
