I love old wedding photos! They can be such fun – as with this one – or of a very serious nature! This photo was taken in the 1920’s – no names.
This is a gorgeous wedding photo – from the 1930’s I think! The bride is beautiful – gazing down at her bouquet of lilies – and her dress and veil are very simple but elegant!
Everyone looks a little bored in this photo – perhaps it took too much time! The groom and his best man have the same facial features – they must be brothers!
This bride looks frightened or bored – I’m not sure which. She is exquisitely dressed – down to the tips of her long, white gloves. Notice the groom’s top hat on the table. He appears to be very pleased with himself – for his beautiful bride or the dowry she brought to the marriage?
And the last photo of a 1920’s wedding. Don’t you love the bouquets and hats? I rather like that none of the bridesmaid dresses match – yet they coordinate very well!
