To give you a little more information on the John Salter and Betsy Ridgeway marriage – the bondsman was John Shields and the bride’s parents were John and Betsy Shields. These are original marriage records. If you would like copies I can stop by the court house and get them for you. Not sure what the copy cost is, but can’t be more than $1.00 per copy.

This one has my line! Peter Sheafor married Sally Watts. I am a descendant of Peter’s sister Elizabeth. I wish I could find proof of who their mother was!!
