A new Kindle book is available – Rockbridge Baptist Church Cemetery List. This church is located in rural Washington County, Kentucky. There are 535 people buried in this cemetery. The list includes name, birth and death dates, and sometimes additional information. Rockbridge Cemetery is not in good shape – many stones are overturned. I feel fortunate to have photographed the cemetery while most were still readable – as some were not.

Good Morning Cousin
This is the first time that I have heard of Rockbridge Baptist church, Washington Co. KY I am still looking for any information on Philip Porter b. 1754 Fairfax Co. Va.. migrated with wife and children to Taylorsville, Shelby Co (then changed to Spencer Co. later) came to KY abt 1804. He was a Baptist, an Appraiser and Surveyor in and around Taylorsille KY. Since Washington Co. KY is not all that far and there were Porters in Washington Co, KY, could you advise me if there is any record of Philip Porter on the list.
Thanks for your help and thanks for your great postings. I have learned so much from you about the Porters and the allied families such as Linton, and on and on.
Have a good day.

Dottie, there are no Porters buried at Rockbridge! I’ll let you know if I find them elsewhere!
Hello Phyllis, I just discovered you on Facebook and am delighted to discover all the resources you have uncovered. My relatives are buried in cemeteries in Willisburg, Pleasant Grove, Perryville, and Mackville. Do you have any plans to do research in those cemeteries?
