Mr. Frank Noel, aged 84 years, a splendid old gentleman who resided in the Hill Top section, died last Sunday. He had been dangerously ill for about two weeks and two days before his death called his family together and told them he was ready to go. The funeral service was held at Bruner’s Chapel Monday by Rev. Nicely, of Mackville. He leaves to mourn him his wife, Mrs. Amanda Noel and seven children, Messrs. James Noel, Hamilton, Ohio; Isaiah Noel, T. Noel, Miss Mary Noel, Mrs. Matt McGlone, Mrs. B. W. Peavler, Mrs. Ora Tewmey. Eighteen grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Frank Noel, aged 72 years, died Friday night at her home near Rose Hill. A few days before the end she suffered a stroke of paralysis, and gradually sank until the end. She was highly respected in the neighborhood where she resided. She was before her marriage Miss Mandy Black, and was an aunt of County Attorney R. L. Black. Her funeral was held at Bruner’s Chapel Saturday afternoon with services by Rev. Nicely, the pastor. The interment was in the cemetery there. Her husband preceded her to the grave several years ago, and she is survived by the following children: Messrs. Zay Noel, T. Noel, Mrs. Mecie McGlone, Mrs. Ora Tewmey, Mrs. Wade Peavler and Miss Mary Noel, who made her home with her mother.
