During our trip to Kentucky in spring of 2023 we visited Carr Fork Memorial Cemetery in Knott County, located in the Brinkley area. Following KY-160 south to Carr Fork Cemetery Road, about 7 miles. Carr Fork is a beautiful cemetery that went straight up the hill. It was a gorgeous day and our photographs were very clear.
John Amburgey, Jr., Revolutionary Soldier born 1758, Culpeper County, Virginia, died May 3, 1831, and his wife, Elizabeth Hamons, born 1759, Surry county, North Carolina, died 1857. Dedicated by descendants, 1982.
