  1. My Hopper family is buried there. I visited a few years ago and cleaned some of the stones.

  2. Addison Durham is the son of John Durham (1742-1817), who moved from southern Virgina to the Danville/Perryville area in 1783 along with my 5th great-grandfather, Rev. Francis Clark, Sr. They set up the first Methodist chapel/congregation in Kentucky.

    Isaac Durham’s wife, who is mentioned in a couple of the obituaries above as being Mary Mahan or Amelia J Durham, is surely Amelia (in one census, “Pamelia”) Jane Mahan Durham. Her parents (Francis Clark Mahan and Nancy Clark) are my third great grandparents. Nancy is the granddaughter of Rev. Francis Clark.
