Addison Durham is the son of John Durham (1742-1817), who moved from southern Virgina to the Danville/Perryville area in 1783 along with my 5th great-grandfather, Rev. Francis Clark, Sr. They set up the first Methodist chapel/congregation in Kentucky.
Isaac Durham’s wife, who is mentioned in a couple of the obituaries above as being Mary Mahan or Amelia J Durham, is surely Amelia (in one census, “Pamelia”) Jane Mahan Durham. Her parents (Francis Clark Mahan and Nancy Clark) are my third great grandparents. Nancy is the granddaughter of Rev. Francis Clark.
My Hopper family is buried there. I visited a few years ago and cleaned some of the stones.
