Mr. Thomas J. Randolph, 79, died at his home on Walnut Hills February 18.  His funeral was at the Baptist Church yesterday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. C. W. Knight.  Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.  Mr. Randolph was much liked by those who knew him.  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nannie Randolph, and their children as follows:  Sam Randolph, Boyle County; Leslie and Lem Randolph, Lexington; Joe Randolph, Rose Hill; Beckham Randolph, Mrs. Lawrence Roberts, Harrodsburg; Mrs. Albert Munson, DeKalk, Illinois; Hollis Randolph, Mrs. Wallace Drury, Sycamore, Illinois; and three step-children:  Mrs. John Devine, Mackville; Mrs. Tom Durr, DeKalb, Illinois, and Mrs. Al Cummins, Harrodsburg.  Two brothers and a sister reside in Indiana, Sam and Harry Randolph and Mrs. Nannie Randolph.

Mrs. Nannie Bailey Randolph, 87, widow of Thomas Randolph, died Monday night, March 18, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Tom Durr, in Sycamore, Illinois, after a long illness.

Born March 15, 1870, she was a daughter of Frank Bailey and Rhoda Patterson Randolph.  Her husband predeceased her 27 years ago.  She was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.

She is survived by five other daughters, Mrs. Lykens Cummins, Jeffersonville, Indiana; Mrs. John Devine, Willisburg; Mrs. Lawrence Roberts, Scottsburg, Indiana; Mrs. Albert Munson and Mrs. Caltha Drury, both of Sycamore, Illinois; two sons, Beckham Randolph, Harrodsburg, and Hollis Randolph, of Sycamore; a stepson, Lem Randolph, Lexington; 31 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon, March 22, at the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, by Dr. C. R. Daley.  Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be grandsons.

The body is at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home.
