Married – Brown-Twidwell – on the 10th inst., by Samuel McCreary, Esq., Mr. George S. Brown to Miss Sarah I. Twidwell, all of this county.  The Schuyler Citizen, June 27, 1860.

Married – Holme-Fishback – on the 30th of May last, at the bride’s residence, in Batavia, Ohio, Mr. Richard Holme, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Miss Lizzie, daughter of Judge Fishback and sister of Mr. Fishback of the Missouri Democrat.  The Schuyler Citizen, August 8, 1860.

Married – Newman-Little – on Tuesday, August 7, 1860, by Rev. James Dewitt, at the residence of Mr. Robert Little, Mr. Peter Newman and Miss Maria Little The Schuyler Citizen, August 15, 1860.

Married – Williams-Colt – on the 6th inst., at the residence of the bride’s father, by Rev. W. D. Lemon, Rev. P. J. Williams of the Central Illinois Conference and Miss C. P. Colt, of this county.  The Schuyler Citizen, September 5, 1860.

Married – Ellis-Stradley – on the 13th inst., by Rev. James Dewitt, at the residence of W. D. Ellis, Esq., in Littleton, Illinois, Mr. George W. Ellis and Miss Rachel Jane Stradley, The Schuyler Citizen, September 12, 1860.

Married – Parrott-Window – on Wednesday 10th inst., by Rev. James Dewitt, Mr. Thomas P. Parrott and Miss Emma Window, all of this county.  The printers were very handsomely remembered on the occasion, and their best wishes are hereby tendered the wedded pair.  The Schuyler Citizen, October 17, 1860.

Married – Davis-Houston – on Tuesday, the 15th inst., in Indiana, by the Rev. Mr. Smythe, Mr. Benjamin F. Davis and Amanda Houston.  Friend Davis and lady (who by the way is a niece of General Sam Houston of Texas) are now here spending a few days among their friends.  We offer the happy ones our congratulations, especially Ben in selecting a lady who is a true Lincoln man.  The Schuyler Citizen, October 26, 1860.

Married – McCreery-McNeely – on Thursday the 8th, by Rev. S. E. Wishard, Mr. Robert H. McCreery and Miss Eliza McNeely, all of this county.  The golden fee and a share of the wedding cake inspire this office to offer its sincere congratulations to the happy pair.  The Schuyler Citizen, November 15, 1860.

Married – Myers-Robertson – on the 15th inst., by Samuel McCreary, Esq., Mr. Nicholas Myers and Miss Martha Robertson, all of Rushville.  The Schuyler Citizen, November 28, 1860.

Married – Elsor-Cogley – on the 20th inst., by Samuel McCreary, Esq., Mr. George P. Elsor and Miss Susan Cogley, both of Pleasantview.  The Schuyler Citizen, November 28, 1860.
