Charles Allen Teegarden
Charles Allen Teegarden, only offspring of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Teegarden of Brooksville, passed away Thursday morning, October 3, after a few days of illness. Young Teegarden was 21 years of age last February and during the early part of this year was united in marriage to Miss Jewell Davis of Maysville. He was connected with the Farmers Equity Bank, of which his father is president, for more than two years, later engaging in the insurance business and no young man in the county stood higher in the estimation of the entire community. He was a member of the church, clean, moral and upright, and his untimely death was the cause of much sorrow in his home town. The wife and the bereaved parents have the sympathy of all. The remains arrived here on number 2 Friday, being taken to the home of his parents. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon and an unusually large crowd gathered to pay the last tribute of respect to this splendid young man who gave up his life for his country. The remains were laid to rest in the beautiful K of P Cemetery at Brooksville.
