I found the following marriage returns at the Pulaski County Courthouse in Somerset. Notice the handwriting, very modern. Perhaps the old records were difficult to read and it was decided to make these copies for future generations.
Pulaski County – This is to certify that William Wade and Sarah Allan is joined together in wedlock by me July 15th day 1799. [To] Mr. William Fox – Elliott Jones.
The foregoing list of marriages was returned to my office as Clerk of the Pulaski County Court by the Reverend Elliott Jones and the same has been duly recorded in my office. Att. Will Fox, C.P.C.
Pulaski County – This is to certify that James Board and Elizabeth Walker are joined together in the holy state of matrimony agreeable to license obtained from the clerk of the said county for executing the same. Given under my hand 18th day of November 1800. Elliott Jones.

Pulaski County 1803 – I hereby certify that on the 17th day of March I joined together in the holy state of matrimony William Churchwell and Betsy Crawford as the law directs; also on the 22nd day of March I joined together as aforesaid George Burton and Ibley Lewis; also on the 19th of May I joined together as aforesaid James Burton and Caty Baker; also on the 21st day of May I joined together as aforesaid Jeremiah Jackson and Anne Burton; also on the 2nd day of June I joined together as aforesaid Peter Baker and Nancy Hudson; also on the 18th of August I joined together as aforesaid William Walker and Margaret Raburn; also on the 19th of August I joined together as aforesaid Robert Williams and Polly Pace. Given under my hand for the year one thousand eight hundred and three. Thomas Hill.
