John Moran, my 6th great-grandfather, was the son of Gabriel Moran and Elizabeth Vilette. Gabriel was the son of Thomas Moran and Ann Gorman, and came to Charles County from County Clare, Ireland.
John Moran married Rebecca Hulse, the daughter of James Pearl Hulse and Catherine Barber. John and Rebecca had four sons – Gabriel, William, John and Meveral Hulse Moran. I descend from William Moran.
The handwriting of the clerk is absolutely stunning!
