Mrs. Rebecca McFatridge died early Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Fannie McFatridge, near town, in the eighty-fourth year of her age.  Her son, Mr. William McFatridge, and Mrs. Fannie McFatridge were near neighbors and she divided her time between the two families.  On Wednesday of last week she suffered a stroke of paralysis, and grew steadily worse until the end.  Naturally the sense of her loss is keener within her immediate family, but with those who had come in contact with this good woman during her long life, her passing away is a source of genuine sorrow.  Since early girlhood Mrs. McFatridge had been a devoted member of the Presbyterian church, and on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock her funeral services were conducted at the home of her daughter-in-law by her pastor, Dr. J. G. Hunter, and the interment took place in Spring Hill cemetery.
