Thomas P. Hodges M.D. is my 2nd great grand father. He was born 29 Dec 1828 and died 12 Aug 1872. He married Catherine Francis Carter and lived on her family farm. They had John P. Hodges, Martha A. Hodges Hobson, and James Carter Hodges (b 9 Sept 1861-d. 20 Mar 1933)., My great grandfather. He married Alice B. Hayden (b. 14 Apr. 1865 Marion Co., KY-20 July 1937 Green Co., KY), they are both buried in Greensburg City Cemetery in the family plot. They had:Thomas H. Hodges (1889-1890), Eva Hodges 1821-1926, Annie Newell Hodges Ashbrook, my grandmother b. 1893-1990, Julian Adair Hodges 1895-1969, Florence 1898-1902, Mattie Hodges Jones 1903-1991 lived in Lexington, KY and is buried in the Lexington cemetery. I can give you more info if you would like. I am trying to find out about Samuel Harvey Hodges father William, the info I have is incorrect. I have proven genealogy link from Alice B. Hayden’s side to a revolutionary patriot. It seems that the family has been in America since the 1600s. There are LOTS of patriots!! Also, Elizabeth Washington, George’s sister is a cousin by marriage.
