Mrs. Little of Near Saloma Succumbs
Mrs. Sara Florence Williver Little died at her home near Saloma last Monday, December 6, 1920. Mrs. Little had been in declining health for several years, and her death was not unexpected, but came as a great shock to the family.
The deceased was born February 5, 1850, and in 1871 she was married to James Little, who preceded her to the grave a number of years ago. To this union seven children were born, two of whom died. Those surviving are H. A. Little of Louisville, Kentucky; Mrs. Laura Tharp of Indianapolis, Indiana; Mrs. Stella Miskell, Roy and J. Clifford Little of this county.
Mrs. Little made a profession of her faith when quite young and lived as a true and consecrated member of the M. E. church. She was a tender and loving mother and a kind neighbor. The entire community feels sharply the loss of this noble christian woman.
The funeral services were held Wednesday at Saloma, conducted by Rev. J. L. Piercy, and interment in the cemetery in that place. To the surviving children and sorrowing friends we extend our deepest sympathy.
