married Rose abt Jan 1842 at St Rose Church? Think William is his brother?. I dont have the book for St Rose marriages and death records.
Thomas Janes and Rose McIlvoy were married 29 Jan 1842 in Washington County, Kentucky. William Janes was the bondsman. It is very likely Thomas and William were brothers.

I have John Janes Jr & 1st wife Elizabeth Willett parents of
William and Samuel Janes
2nd Wife Susan Lee , they had one son Thomas Janes abt 1831
John Janes Jr died in Fort Bend TX in 1843
