The remains of Mr. Shelby Magoffin, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Beriah Magoffin, of Duluth, Minnesota, arrived here for interment yesterday at noon, accompanied by his father, and were tenderly laid to rest in Spring Hill Cemetery. The deceased was twenty-seven years old and death was caused by consumption. The remains of the lady, Miss Lucinda Smith, aged 45, who tenderly nursed him until several weeks ago when she died suddenly, were also on the train and were buried in Spring Hill. The two hearses, the one behind the other, was an unusual spectacle, followed by a long cortege. Miss Smith was raised by the Shakers of this county, and had made her home with the Magoffin family for years
