Richard T. Colvin – Mary E. Keeling 1898 Marriage

Richard T. Colvin was the son of Richard Pascal Colvin and Lutisha Wells, born November 21, 1872, in Washington County, Kentucky.  Mary E. Keeling was the daughter of John D. Keeling and Jane R. White, born February 20, 1877.  The couple had at least five children – Effie Pearl, Ruel, Everett, Hobart L. and R. C. Colvin.  Richard and Mary Colvin are buried in Everygreen Cemetery in Willisburg, Washington County, Kentucky.

The Commonwealth of Kentucky, To any Minister of the Gospel, or other person legally authorized to solemnize Matrimony:

You are permitted to solemnize the Rite of Matrimony between Richard T. Colvin and Mary E. Keeling, the requirements of the law having been complied with.

This is to Certify that on the 1st day of September, 1898, the Rites of Marriage were legally solemnized by me between Richard T. Colvin and Mary E. Keeling at my home in the County of Washington in the presence of J. E. Rose and J. L. Rose.
